I am not a fan of vampires and werewolves, but after months of "encouragment" to read this series, I love this story. This is the 3rd in the series and I can't wait to read the 4th breaking dawn.
book in excellent condition but took way too long to receive. I could have found locally
I loved Twilight. I fell in love with Edward right along with Bella, fell in love with the whole cast of characters. Through New Moon, I found myself rooting for Jacob, a feeling that only expanded as I read this book. Bella and Edward weren't even likable characters in this one, and they were very clearly actors at the mercy of Stephanie's plot. Their actions weren't believable, they were mere puppets, doing as she told them to do, and it was really obvious. None of their behavior felt real to me, and the characters felt like cardboard cut-outs. Jacob was the most well rounded character in this one and at the end of this book, I find myself believing more in the Bella's love for Jacob than I do in her love for Edward. The action was good, it kept me hooked in, but in the end, I find myself feeling really let down by this book. I wanted to love Bella's decision to choose Edward, because I loved him in Twilight and I wanted to love him through New Moon and now this one, but I simply found it unbelievable.
In this, the third installment of the Twilight Saga, Bella is faced with a vampire who wants revenge on her for the death of her partner. She and Edward must fight or be killed. In this race against time to find an army to fight, help may come from an unsuspected source. Meyer is a great author and pulls it off again. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. This book is for anyone who likes a great mystery, love story, or action story.
Good book. I went with the fad and bought it, but ended up really enoying it!
