We're having so much fun with this game. It was labelled used by like new and it was. So glad I was able to find it for a great price for the kids.
good party game, fun with groups. good songs. i even got my mom to play and she got pretty hooked. she never plays video games, very family friendly
This is great for big groups, the ps3 allows you to make a character and such, but ps2 does not. Overall good songs, works well.
I don't really care for all the other instruments but the guitar, but this is all I have to say. Why is there as made famous by songs and not the real artist? I basically bought this song to play two songs: "Detroit Rock City" by Kiss and "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi. I expected there to be a more fun quick play mode. Here is the bottom line for me: Guitar Hero is better. Sure, Rock Band is exciting and fun to play but not all of their songs on the game are by the original artist. Does that mean there cheap? Luckily, I bought this game used at Game Stop for [...]. If I had paid the full price when it had come out, I don't know what I would have done.
This is enough to make me a game-machine fan... Dance Dance Revolution first made me think of the usefulness and fun possibilities of the PlayStation, and now Rock Band seals it. Thoroughly enjoyable and well-designed, particularly good for group fun. It might even get a new generation of boys singing (or at least admire singing).
I wish there were more information about how RockBand determines the scoring, especially the vocal part; also would like more info about how they developed the product, and parsed the various melody and accompaniment lines.
