Madden 09 is very solid gameplay and graphically speaking. Some claim to have encountered freezing issues but I have not seen any of that. The gameplay is realistic and the weather conditions are great. The uniforms get extremely dirty during rain games. The colors of the teams are dead on. All in all it`s a great football experience. People are complaining about the upcoming release of Madden 11 not having the dirty uniform effect. If that`s true then do yourself a favor and buy Madden 09. Sometimes newer doesn`t mean better.
Its a fun game for when I feel like playing football and the graphics are pretty good. I bought this for 14 dollars because I don't want to buy the newest madden game for 60 when I can just buy the one from the year before for a lot cheaper. So if you just play football games occasionally then you should save some money by buying this.
I played some of the Madden games that were for the Playstation 1&2 and did not like them. I picked up Madden 09 as an add-on to an order and have enjoyed playing it. It is fun and is helping me as I wait for the 2010 NFL Draft and Pre-Season to begin. I am jones-ing for football and this is helping
I agree with a lot of the other comments that the players run too fast and the defensive backs are just TOO good in that in many of the games they have 4-5 interceptions.
But I bought it for entertainment value and it does that. I am going to be buying Madden 10 and 11 (when it comes out).
This game got me hooked.
Madden 09 is an excellent game, in great condition and very good quality and fast and excellent service.
Bought this as a gift for a 14 year old boy....he loves it! Came quickly, game in perfect condition! Would definitely purchase another game from them! Thanks!
