Probably his worst? It's definately not his best! Buy Recovery and leave this album unless you are a huge Eminem fan. Most of these songs are average at best.
When I first heard this album I HATED it, as a longtime fan of Eminem I felt cheated. Yet another CD full of rapping in the voice of Triumph the Talking Dog, in nonsensical lyrics over wasted, hot production. I didn't listen to it again for about a year, then one day I put it on and got it. The CD is a metaphorical account of Eminem relapsing immediately after leaving rehab, getting so high he eventually blacks-out and is found in a coma...sobers up and prepares for his road to "Recovery." This is a good album, full of insane yet interesting images in story telling. My favorite song is Same Song & Dance, which is bizarre (especially the preceding skit) but displays Eminem's amazing talent for writing and ability to flow to any beat.
it didn't meet my expectations, but it was ok. i've heard better songs from eminem
Eminem has always been known to be brutally honest in his songs and delve into his personal life, allowing us to get a glimpse of his world. Where as most other rappers fill their albums with arrogant songs about their cash, cars, women, sex, Em has always had the courage to reveal his pain, his insecurities, his personal issues.

With thats said, this album had such huge potential. Em had been on hiatus for 4 years, he had just gone through the loss of his best friend Proof. Yet there was no mention of Proof except one line in the song Deja Vu. Instead, this album is filled with shock horror, lame murder scenarios, comedic characters (his use of the same jokey accents was overused to the point of being annoying). With the exception of a few songs (Beautiful, Deja Vu), there was no valuable content in the whole album, just lame played out gimmick songs he's already used in previous albums. I really hope his upcoming Recovery album will not be anything like this one.......
